Where: In trays of seed compost.
How: Cover lightly with fine compost firm gently and keep moist . Seedlings appear 14-28 days.
Care: When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise to outside conditions (avoid frost) then transplant to a a sunny growing position, 45 cm apart, from September.
Harvest: March to December.

When: May to June.
Where: In a prepared seed bed.
How: Sow thinly in rows 20cm apart cover lightly with fine soil.Firm gently and keep moist.
Care: When large enough thin to 10cm apart.Transplant to a sunny growing position, 45 cm apart, from September keep moist and weed free.
Harvest: March to December
Tip: Protect young plants from slugs.
