Attractive star shaped flowers are great in summer drinks and salads.Young leaves can also be used in salads.Hardy annual. Height 60cm.

FOR INDOOR SOWING.
When: February to May.
Where: In trays of seed compost.
How: Sow thinly, cover lightly with fine compost and firm gently. Keep at 15-20 oC and keep moist. Seedling appear 14-28 days.
Care: Thin as necessary and when large enough, gradually acclimatise to outside conditions (avoid frost) then transplant to a sunny growing position 60cm apart.
Harvest: May to November.

When: April to June.
Where: In a prepared seed bed in a suuny growing position.
How: Sow thinly in rows 70cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil.Keep moist.
Care: Thin seedlings to 60cm apart.
Harvest: May to November.

Tip: Borage will self-seed happily if left to set seed.
